LAKE BRANTLEY ROWING ASSOCIATION provides an opportunity for young men and women to participate in the great sport of rowing. One of Florida's premier high school rowing programs, Lake Brantley Crew placed first overall at the Florida Scholastic Rowing Association's 2003 State Championship Regatta (improving upon a second-place finish in 2002) and has produced champion boat crews at both the state and national levels.
Organization structure, school affiliation, and funding
Lake Brantley Rowing Association, Inc. was founded in October 1988 by a group of students at Lake Brantley High School in Altamonte Springs, Florida. The club is organized as a Florida not for profit corporation and is an officially recognized club at Lake Brantley High School.
Where we row?
LBRA competes in regattas throughout Orlando and the state of Florida, and typically travels out of state for some races during the season and the Scholastic Rowing Association of America National Championships. We practice out of the John Mclain Legacy LBRA Boat House on beautiful Lake Fairview in Orlando.
